 Can I shout out a functional medicine doctor on here who was able to detect and begin treating my hashimotos within 15 days? He has patients all over the world and does a lot of telehealth visits. I see him in office here in Charleston, sc.
After being thrown around from rheumatology to neurology and back again for 5 years just to end up sitting in Mental health therapy AGAIN, I was so discouraged and wish someone had sent me to functional med years ago! He uses science and extremely sensitive testing so it’s not a “rub this leaf on your forehead” kind of facility. He explains what’s happening and he tells you exactly why! He’s the real deal! Ps. This type of treatment is out of pocket but he does take payment plans. Every time I’m there I tell him to TAKE MY MONEY!!! Can’t be any more than what our disease already costs. And once it’s paid, there are no other charges for his services. He says he’s yours for life. That’s how he promises to get you well. He doesn’t make money on keeping you sick! Im all paid and see him once a week for no cost. He also is a chiropractor and adjusts me. Absolutely wonderful doctor!

I have been going to Dr. Mike for over a year now.  I have Hashimoto's and I had a severe rash on both of my arms and my hands when I came in to his office.  The rash was on my wrist to my elbow and all the way around my forearms, it itched so bad I scratched it until it bled.  Dermatologists gave me steroid creams that would help for maybe a day then the rash would come back with a vengeance.  When that didn't work they gave me a cream that was known to cause cancer and I refused to use it.  Dr. Mike started me on a cleanse and other supplements and helped me to clean up my diet.  Those changes got rid of the rash.  It only took weeks.  I saw improvement every day.  It is gone now and has not come back.  I cleaned up my diet and continue on only the supplements that I need.  I follow up with Dr, Mike and review what I am taking and he makes necessary changes, if any.  I know for a certainty that I would not be doing as well if he had not helped me.  While Hashimoto's cannot be healed and my immune system has pretty much destroyed my thyroid, it is under control and I can function and I feel good.  That is more than I can say for previous years.
